Head of Coaching & Player Development

Girls Academy & GA Aspire Programs

Lead coaching standards and player development across our Girls Academy and GA Aspire programs. Mentor coaches, shape the development pathway and serve as Head Coach for two Girls Academy teams.

USSF A or B License required
Based in Pasadena, CA
Evenings, weekends & national travel

VIEW ROLE DETAILS

What you’ll lead

Coach two Girls Academy teams, including training and match-day leadership.
Align curriculum, game model and training methods across GA and GA Aspire.
Implement and manage Individual Development Plans.
Mentor coaches through observation, feedback and education.
Lead player evaluations, tryouts and placement recommendations.
Support player recruitment, retention and college-pathway guidance.
Set clear standards for culture, communication, accountability and professionalism.

This is a hands-on technical leadership and coaching role, focused on the soccer environment rather than administration or operations.

What you’ll bring

USSF A or B License.
Proven leadership in elite player development and national-league environments.
Girls Academy or comparable elite girls’ program experience preferred.
Currently based in the United States.

Location & schedule

Based from LA Surf’s Pasadena offices.
Training in Pasadena, Arcadia and San Marino.
Weeknight and weekend commitments, with national travel for events.
Daily office presence aligned with the Elite Girls Director’s schedule.
