LA Grassroots is a fun introduction to professional coaching and structured programming for the budding soccer star. We combine 5/6-year-olds together and 7-9-year-olds together as much as possible, to create the most conducive training environments. We value the importance for youth players to have an opportunity to play and grow in an environment where they are a little younger than their peers for a period of time; then providing them with an experience where they are a little older than their social peers. Having multiple ages train together presents a balanced opportunity for youth players to develop both physically and socially, while playing the game of soccer!

A yearly commitment, the LA SURF SFV club program offers players an opportunity to play on competitive teams that compete against other clubs across Southern California. Coached by professional staff assigned to the team, they are grouped by location and ability levels, with games played in multiple “seasons”. The Spring Season consists of scrimmages, tournaments and events. The Summer tournament season is used to refine the skills of the player and prepare the team for league. League is hosted September thru November with a State Tournament held in Winter. Older teams have an adjusted schedule to allow players to play both club and High School Soccer each year.

Southwest Conference

The Elite Academy is excited to launch EA2 starting Fall 2022 in the Southwest Conference. EA2 will provide a proving ground for clubs that aspire to join the Elite Academy League in Southern California and mirror many of the standards that have helped the EA be successful over the course of the last two years. The club with the highest PPG for their 6 teams (U13-U19) at the end of the season will be promoted to the Elite Academy Southwest Conference for the following year. EA2 will also have a playoff structure for individual teams to be crowned champions of their age group, and clubs will also have an opportunity to take part in existing EA showcases.

LA Surf SFV gives young players an opportunity to compete at the highest levels of the youth game either as Full Time or Part Time allocation.

The most competitive players are placed on National Platforms, specifically MLS NEXT and EA League for Boys & Girls Academy and DPL for Girls. For more information visit our Elite Program Page.
