This December, LA Surf opens tryouts for the 2026/27 Season, welcoming boys and girls born between August 1, 2017 and July 31, 2021. These sessions mark the beginning of a new era — introducing school-year birth-year alignment to keep players developing alongside their classmates in a positive, growth-driven environment.

Whether you’re taking your first step into club soccer or continuing your development journey, LA Surf offers the best opportunities and experiences in Southern California. Our teams, coaches, and community represent the heartbeat of Los Angeles soccer — united by one mission: to move the game forward.

Age Groups

• U6 – Born August 1, 2020 – July 31, 2021

• U7 – Born August 1, 2019 – July 31, 2020

• U8 – Born August 1, 2018 – July 31, 2019

• U9 – Born August 1, 2017 – July 31, 2018

Tryout Details

• When: December 2025

• Who: Boys & Girls, U6–U9 (2017–2021 birth years)

• Where: Multiple LA Surf locations across Los Angeles County

• What to Expect: Professional coaching, skill evaluations, fun competitive games, and an introduction to the Surf way of play
